Peter Adriel
I was born in north Indiana, raised in Paraguay and rural Woodford County, Illinois. Lived in Maine, New Hampshire, N. California... travelled the Northwest and Southwest and Australia and New England. I've worked as a farmer, baker, church pipe organ tuner, street musician, animator, and now this.
I've mounted kalimbas on an old acoustic guitar, and play it flat on my lap, sometimes with a slide. Also have built something I call the 'noise floor', and play it with my feet for percussion. This makes for a satisfying one-man band experience, with amplified footbeats, stomps or dances, depending.
I also make sculptures out of wire, build fences around streams, plant small forests, cook and eat good food, do a bit of farm work here and there, and spend time on the land as I travel.
